Wordpress Anti-Virus

December 21st, 2009 by Chris | Filed under Internet and SEO.

internet and seo Wordpress Anti VirusAfter reviewing Wordpress Security I have found it to be very good as long as you always stay up-to-date with the latest release.

This isn’t a problem as I post to this blog daily, so I am always around to make sure its up-to-date. But you can never have too much security on your Wordpress install, this is what made me look into additional security.

After searching and testing different plugins I settled for ‘AntiVirus for WordPress’ is a great plugin that will automatically scan your Wordpress files daily and email you if there is a problem. You can alway run a manual scan when you login to your Wordpress admin.

Here is the description from the website:

Viruses, worms and malware exist for WordPress and could easily attack your WordPress installation. AntiVirus for WordPress monitors malicious injections and warns you of any possible attacks. With multilingual support. Simply, the plugin you must have.
Ideal as a supplement to the manual security measures in your blogs. Hey, it’s free!
